Premature thelarche is a benign, self-limiting condition which is characterised by breast development with no other signs of sexual maturation. There may well be two types of premature thelarche. The classical type commences during the first year of life and tends to resolve by the age of two. הנצת שדיים (בלעז: Thelarche) היא שלב ראשוני בהתפתחות השד בגיל ההתבגרות, המתרחשת בדרך כלל בסביבות גיל 10. בשלב זה יש בליטה מוצקה אך רכה מתחת לפטמה. בשלבי טאנר מדובר בשלב השני (כאשר השלב הראשון הוא היעדר ניצנים, טרום גיל ההתבגרות). הנצה עשויה להתרחש תחילה באחד מהשדיים או בשני הצדדים בעת ובעונה אחת.
